Nobiru Coast

The beach is accessible and there is lots of parking. Lots of people fishing but no services that I could see (no drinking water to be found and no toilets in particular). The beach is pretty shallow so you can dip your toes into the water or swim easily. Do bring some beach footwear as there are lots of shells in and out of the water. The water itself was pretty murky and with lots of algae, not too pretty. Even with the many fisher people, the beach was not crowded, police patrolled the area.

It is a coast with a sandy beach. There are also breakwaters and tsunami countermeasures. The view of the sandy beach and the sea was beautiful. When I looked into the distance, I could even see the isolated islands of Higashimatsushima. I got the impression that the sandy beach was wide. There was a long distance from the beach to the sea. It's a place where you can feel the sea breeze and look at the ocean.

New Year's Eve 2023. I suddenly thought, ``I've never seen the first sunrise from the sea!'' I researched the weather on the Pacific side and the sunrise spot and decided on Nobiru Beach🆗. In any given year, I drink alcohol, but this year I luckily didn't because of trouble at work✨. In the evening, I came back from work, took a little rest, and then decided to go out by myself. (The family had returned to their home.) The weather in Niigata and Yamagata prefectures is light rain and sleet along the mountains. Miyagi Prefecture is really safe! I haven't done much night driving lately, so I feel sleepy. I took a break along the way, but the drive time was probably just under 4 hours. It was still pitch dark when we arrived at Nobiru Beach. When I arrived, the previous passenger had turned off the engine and several people seemed to be taking a nap. As it started to get brighter, I put on a down jacket and a woolen hat to protect myself from the cold, and went outside with my smartphone. There were people all the way to the beach... Before I knew it, so many people had gathered! I hope this year will be a good year! The first sunrise of 2024 from the sea (a little above the clouds) ``Four hours after I got home, there was an earthquake in Noto, and Niigata Prefecture was also shaken quite a bit.'' This is a big deal. Is everyone okay?

2023.08.23 [Postscript] This year's 15th solo trip is a reward trip to myself for achieving a raging 15 consecutive days during the Sendai Tanabata and Obon period. An inn that costs over 15,000 yen without dinner is usually out of the question. After looking down at the sea from the observatory spaces such as Yukan and Reikan, I wanted to see the sea from a flat perspective, so I went to Nobiru Beach in the early morning. The torii I saw when I visited in March seems to appear for a limited time, but it was not there during this visit. I was satisfied with the scenery of the torii because I had no motivation to soak in the sea in March, but this time I played with the waves on the beach even though the swimming season was over because of the heat. Even though it was early in the morning, the waves were already warmed by the heat, and the way the waves surged dynamically was very summer-like. On the sandy beach, find coconut palms washed ashore and have fun like a child. After collecting driftwood and shell patterns, I collect the smooth, clean white sand from the beach like a baseball player at Koshien. "48 Summer" that I thought I'd go home and decorate. Even after returning to the car, it was a pity to leave, and with the car window open and the sound of the waves and the sea breeze blowing, I fell asleep in a comfortable space that didn't require an air conditioner. Looking in the direction of the sudden roar, Blue Impulse flew in the blue sky. The unexpected appearance made me feel even more like a child. I was fascinated by the unexpected sights such as drawing a wonderful flight curve and gliding at close range in no time. 2023.03.13 The stage of the 6th Michinoku solo trip this year is Oku-Matsushima. Revisited for the first time in 38 years since I visited for family trips and outdoor activities when I was in elementary school. I visited this beach for the first time in a long time after 3.11, the sea that I once came to swim in. I have almost no memory of visiting when I was in elementary school, so I pray for the souls of the dead in front of the torii that was built after the earthquake. At first glance, the torii gates that stand alone on the broad coast seem inorganic, but if you look closely, you can feel a deep flavor. When you look at your feet, you can see the beautiful dust moving on the sandy beach, fanned by strong winds. Unfortunately, the plastic waste left by heartless people is not responsible for the coast itself, but we cannot take care of the environment that shows the appearance of reconstruction.
